We guarantee that at the time of ownership transfer, Namevo domains will have at least 9 months to run before they expire. Many domains will last a lot longer than that - up to 11 months longer, according to when they were registered.
If WHOIS tells you that the domains currently have less than 9 months, they will be renewed for an additional year prior to transfer.
We have chosen 9 months because of our very low prices. If we said 12 months we would have to charge more - it's as simple as that.
Of course all domains do expire, and after your purchase, it is your responsibility to maintain their status, using the registrar of your choice. The cost is not great - the going rate on the internet right now is approximately $10 per year.
